On Tuesday June 11, 2024, officers from the San Angelo Police Department responded to a call at approximately 10:00 a.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of E. 21st Street for a welfare check.
Upon arrival, officers found the house secured. Due to information provided by the complainant and evidence at the scene, officers determined it was necessary to force entry to the residence as they believed there was need for immediate intervention.
Officers discovered 2 deceased individuals inside the residence. Preliminary investigation indicated that this was a murder-suicide. The deceased have been identified as Clinton Willie Francis Jr, (72) and Malneshia Clark, (29) of San Angelo, TX. Evidence at the scene indicated that Malneshia Clark fatally shot Clinton Willie Francis Jr before taking her own life.
